giving thanks?

i don't mind reading your lists of things for which you are thankful. as long as you're serious. what you should know, however, is that i think i've seen enough pictures of people fisting a turkey. (hey guess what, you weren't the first to show me that afterall..)

over here we don't have a holiday where we stuff food into other food. well, not as far as i know, anyway. that doesn't mean we aren't thankful. it's just that we don't save it all up for one special day of the year.

some other (unrelated) thoughts:
there's a problem with a few entries in my journal when viewed in Safari. i should look into that.
i need to start writing down titles for my best albums of the year list. i probably won't post it before the end of the year, but i know that if i waited until the last minute, i would not only hate myself for procrastinating like this, but most likely forget to put half of it on there.
looking forward to seeing marjolijn (author_author) tomorrow afternoon.
does anyone actually keep gloves in their glove box?

i truly wish that you're all having a happy day today..

yeah but i'm sure tam wasn't mocking your holiday. what she probably meant was that it's a north american thing and the rest of the world isn't having thanksgiving dinner today. ;)

'does anyone actually keep gloves in their glove box?'

yes. I have a lovely pair of soft chocolate brown leather driving gloves that I keep in the Daimler's glove box. Speaking of which, the lid of the glovebox is currently off the car and I'm French Polishing the burr walnut veneer.

The annual Stuffing Food Into Other Food Holiday went well...

And--- thank you very much for the birthday card, Tam.

you know...my mom doesn't actually stuff the turkey. I just eat, because when I have reason to be thankful, I am. yesterday was just a day of yum and deliciousness.
and I always figured the glove box is called that because it's for everything except gloves? haha, just kidding...no gloves for me.
