tv trouble

our television is acting less and less than a tv should. i know from experience it's going to give up altogether pretty soon. after you've turned it on there's no picture for at least half an hour. by the end of the week it will be a couple of hours before anything happens. thinking of buying one of those flat screen lcd ones. are they any good? worth the extra money?

in my last entry i described carson mccullers on that photo as a woman in her early thirties. well i couldn't help but check of course.. she was born in 1917, so in 1946 she would have been 28 or 29.

Have you tried the "smack the hell out of the side of the TV" method of making it work? Alot of time it works miracles (and give you a good relief of stress :)

Yeah the ole "technical tap" (really that is the proper term for "smack the hell out of the side of the TV") It often does work.

Those Flat LCD monitors ARE Awesome! if you got the money..go for it. THey have them at all the sports bars around here. If I could I'd like to get one.

yeah we tried some 'girl power' today, but nothing happened.. :)

i'm pretty sure we're buying one with a flat lcd screen. we don't need a really big one, something like 22 inches should be enough (still talking about a tv here :p )

turning our living room into a cinema is not our idea of fun..
