thank you so much for your advice and kind words here.
i would like to respond to some of the things you guys said and answer the odd question here and there..

you can't imagine how much i've slept the last couple of days. well, perhaps you can.. it seems i had a bit of catching up to do. i'm already feeling a lot better. i know i'm not quite there where i want to be, but at least i feel i'm on the mend. i'm also capable of thinking more clearly about the whole situation now.

i know not being able to get enough sleep played a major part in this, it can drive you nuts. i agree, that even if this isn't (wasn't) bipolar, it could still be a mild depression. and of course the serious lack of sleep made things even worse. so i'll have it checked out, no matter what. and no, there weren't any manic episodes. most of this began afer i started going to bed 'on time'.

when i was much younger, i used to climb trees a lot. the two sprained fingers happened when i jumped and didn't land exactly as i planned.. :D

no i don't mind if someone would like to pray for me. thank you. it's just that no one has ever asked me that before and i wasn't quite sure how to respond to that comment.

oh and yes, my IQ is 'really that high'.
and that's about all you're gonna get on that subject. :)

Sleep is good.

That drive is shorter for some and longer for others. The question is always, "which one am I?" :) (It was more of turning around in place for me. I don't suffer from insanity, I kind of like it.)

Sounds like it may not be bipolar/MD, sounds more like just the D....

ah, great to hear you're feeling better. reason i asked which came first, was because, as garaynbow mentioned, sleep problems can cause symptoms of depression...so i'm thinking it's most likely a result of the sleep habits. which leads me to say fuck 'normalcy'...and lack of manic episodes [due to sleep or not] leads me to lean more towards symptoms of depression...but yeah, have it checked out by a pro, not a patient, haha...hope all goes well!

Feel better soon. Get this checked out. If anything, it will give you peace of mind.

Thoughts and prayers your way. Peace.
