There's a bit of an existential argument as to whether or not love is free, as one must give something (love, kindness, caring, etc) in order to receive love. Still, my boyfriend's love is free and that is the best thing in my life.

I'd take free Mountain Dew Livewire, but I don't think I actually want it to be free as that would pose a serious health risk to me. ;)

I had considered chocolate for my answer but discarded it for similar reasons :)

There is a screened anonymous comment from me because I didn't realize my proxy server had logged me out again. :(

Sometimes I just like to free my mind and watch the clouds in the sky. That doesn't cost me anything. And yes, books should definitely be free.

The smile of my daughter is free.
Bringing her up isn't.

As someone stated, love is not free because it is give and take, nor is friendship. However, I feel like cars should be free instead of so expensive!

Ehhh I have found nothing is free, but the best things are worth the cost. Does remind me of a saing though: "Mone can't buy you love, but love can't buy you shit"

My father once told me, when I was very young, that there is no such thing as a free puppy. There is always a price to pay for everything, though you may not see it at first. You may not have to front the cost, but in the end there will be a price.

I mostly agree with that sentiment. Though, not thuroughly.

To attempt to answer your questions:

The quiet moments of reflection bathed in the fading light of a beautiful sunset.

I wish puppies were actually free.

I'm free tonight (sorry, lame pun, I know)

I wish potting soil were free. I would like the nice garden flowers and veggies feeling without "I can't believe I got conned into paying for dirt" feeling.

Breathing is free, very good for you, and sometimes quite enjoyable.

Food should be free, for the same reasons.
